About Me
Background and Approach
I have always been interested in people and their wellbeing, leading me to study psychology. I have held several roles in which I have used my skills and training to support people at work, and am rewarded by seeing them achieve their goals when once they felt it would be impossible. With a strong sense of fairness and justice, I chose to study at TA East London Institute, where celebrating individuality, valuing community, and focusing on inclusion, is a core part of the training.
I have worked in organisational development, culture and wellbeing for over 25 years. Through leading mediations, I have enabled people facing workplace challenges build harmonious relationships where once they experienced discord; enabled teams find solutions to challenges by running reflective practice groups; and supported those who have faced critical incidents and identify those who needed additional support. During covid, my role was entirely focused on the psychological wellbeing of staff at work.
I have volunteered at a local low cost counselling organisation for the last four years and continue to do so. I am now in advanced training in psychotherapy with social responsibility, and offer counselling and therapeutic services in my west London practice.
I have regular supervision both through my volunteering placement, and privately as a requirement of my training institute, to ensure the quality of my client care; to support my professional and personal development; to reflect on cultural and ethical issues, diversity and inclusion; and to ensure my own self-care.

I listen empathically and non-judgementally to my client’s experiences and needs, and work together with them to support them identify and achieve their therapeutic goals.
